The Impact of the Trip

This trip was more than just a vacation; it was a journey of self-discovery. Traveling with friends, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures broadened my horizons. It wasn’t always smooth sailing—two of my friends had to return to the Philippines after the first night in Singapore due to work commitments. However, I was fortunate to have the freedom to continue the trip as a freelancer. With my laptop and internet access, I could work and earn while traveling.

Budgeting and Freelancing on the Go

Starting the trip with just 5000 pesos seemed daunting, but I managed by planning ahead. Two weeks before the trip, I sent proposals to my clients and invoiced them. Payments came through while we were on the move, allowing me to enjoy the trip without financial stress.

Final Thoughts

This 18-day Asian adventure was a transformative experience. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and the joy of exploring new places. I returned home with a deeper understanding of myself and the world around me. If you’re considering a similar journey, I highly recommend it—it’s an adventure you’ll never forget. šŸŒāœØ
